Humpback volvo

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Buckelvolvo (also popularly Katzenbuckel ) received - as so many cars - its name from its shape.

The humpback volvo, which includes the PV444 (1947 to 1958) and the PV 544 (1958 to 1965), has a very distinctive, continuous roof and back line. This flows from the upper edge of the windshield in an unbroken, strongly curved curve to the end of the rear, which gives the vehicles a crouched, rounded hump . It is available in different engine versions from B 4 (1414 cm³) to B18 (1780 cm³)

The wagon version of the humpback volvo is called the duet .
