Buckinghamshire New University

Buckinghamshire New University ( Bucks New University for short ) is a public British university in High Wycombe ( Buckinghamshire ) in the south of England .

history

It has existed as an educational institution since 1893. Initially founded as a "Science and Art School", Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College ("Bucks College") became a "Polytechnic Institute" in 1989, a kind of technical college . In 1992, Bucks College became part of Brunel University and in 1999 it became an independent university.

Bucks College has a business institute, Buckinghamshire Business School, on the Chalfont Campus. The MBA program from Bucks College is offered in cooperation with, among others, the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences . There it takes place as a three-year part-time course with attendance phases. It serves to acquire management knowledge and leadership skills. The lecturers are made up of professors from the partner universities and experts from companies. Graduates receive a double diploma: Both the academic degree Master of Business Administration from Bucks College and the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences are awarded.
