Bugungu

The Bugungu Game Reserve is a wildlife sanctuary in northwest Uganda .

It covers 473 km², its western border is the Albertsee , in the east it passes directly into the Murchison Falls National Park . There are a few small villages in the wildlife sanctuary with a total of fewer than 5,000 inhabitants (2005 estimate). The area consists mainly of African dry forest . There are no tourist facilities of their own; the area is occasionally visited by tourists from the neighboring Murchison Falls Park.
