The Bundestag constituency of Vorpommern-Rügen - Vorpommern-Greifswald I (constituency 15) is a federal constituency in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . It includes the district of Vorpommern-Rügen as well as the district of Vorpommern-Greifswald the Hanseatic city of Greifswald and the Landhagen district .

The constituency was redesigned in this form as the successor to the former constituency 15 Stralsund - North Western Pomerania - Rügen for the 2013 federal election .

The constituency was re-established after German reunification for the 1990 Bundestag election under the name Stralsund - Rügen - Grimmen and given the constituency number 267.

The constituency originally consisted of the area of ​​the city of Stralsund and the area of ​​the former districts of Stralsund , Rügen and Grimmen . During the district reform in 1994, the district of North Western Pomerania was created from the districts of Grimmen, Stralsund and Ribnitz-Damgarten .
