Federal Association of Turkish-German Business Associations in Germany

The Federal Association of Turkish-German Business Associations in Germany V. (TIDAF; Turkish Türk İşadamları Avrupa Federasyonu Başkanlığı ) is an umbrella organization of Turkish business associations in Germany. It is based in Cologne .

Association

The TIDAF was created in December 1993 from the amalgamation of 22 regionally organized associations of Turkish entrepreneurs. In 1999, 5,000 companies of Turkish origin were already organized in the association. The first chairman was Aydin Yardimci.

In addition to the common objectives of employers' associations, another important objective of Turkish business associations in Germany is to deepen economic relations between Germany and Turkey. In addition, these organizations also want to advise and help with specific problems that affect the particular immigration situation of employers of Turkish origin.
