The Federal Association of German Stunt People e. V. , BvS for short, is a registered association and at the same time an interest group of people who are active in the field of stuntmen .

history

Many people who worked in the film and television industry have their own association (for example the Bundesverband Regie). Only the stuntmen did not have their own federal association. Many stunt people were dissatisfied because they were disadvantaged compared to other groups and had to fear legal uncertainties.

On December 9, 2007 there was the founding meeting of the eight stuntmen under the leadership of René Lay, who had three years of preparation. Almost a year later, on September 2, 2008, the Federal Association of German Stunt People was registered. V. in the Berlin-Charlottenburg register of associations. In the same month there was an information event for all interested parties in Berlin. A few days later, on September 29, 2008, the association's advertising campaign went online. In June 2010 the association welcomed its 100th member.

The association has made it its task to bundle the interests of its members, to represent and represent them externally, to stand up for the rights of the members and to exert influence. He is also in dialogue with institutions and companies in the film industry at home and abroad.
