Buster is the brand name for aluminum boats by the Finnish company Inha Works Ltd. The name "Buster" was developed by an advertising agency and has been in use since 1976. With a total of more than 120,000 boats manufactured so far, Buster is one of the largest manufacturers of aluminum boats. Most of these boats are still in use. The main sales country for Buster boats is Finland (market share 2013: 18.3%), the boats are mainly exported to Russia, Germany, Sweden and Norway. The range of models extends from 3.88 m boats (Buster Mini) to the 7 m model Buster SuperMagnum.

Models

As a rule, the model names of the Buster boats are based on the international clothing sizes from XS to XXL. Exceptions are the Buster Mini models (the smallest Buster boat) and at the other end the "Magnum" and "Supermagnum" models. All models are "open boats", again the only exception is the Buster Cabin model. Since 2013 there has also been a newly introduced "E-Series", which differs from the traditional series primarily in terms of design. While these boat series are intended for the private sector, the "Pro series" is aimed more at professionals.
