C ++ / CX

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

C ++ / CX is a variant of the C ++ programming language developed by the software company Microsoft which, with special language extensions, simplifies programming for the Windows Runtime (WinRT) platform introduced with Windows 8 , especially for the revised COM programming model. The language extensions are similar to those of the C ++ variant C ++ / CLI , but sometimes have different meanings and follow a slightly modified grammar.

The abbreviation stands for CX component extensions (English component extensions ), which refers to the C ++ - related language extensions for COM programming.
