Cajun (rocket)
The Cajun [ ˈkeidʒn̩ ] ( ) was an American sounding rocket . It was created as an improvement on the Deacon missile by using more powerful propellants . It was 264 cm long and weighed 75.3 kg. The first Cajun was launched on June 20, 1956 from the Wallops Flight Facility .
With the addition of the name Cajun , more rockets were built. These include the Nike Cajun and the Cajun Dart .
