CanKan (German "Lebensblut") is a music duo founded in 1998 from the field of "Turkish Pop" and "R 'n' Besk". It consists of the German-Turks Fatih ABB and Ayhan Malik , who come from the Ruhr area .

The two musicians met in a German dance group ("Dance Mashine"). Her title Yar, Yar was a first success in 2005 and reached number one in Turkish hit lists. Success led to the recording of a debut album: Yemin Ettim . A second release, Ibret Olsun , also reached the top position, as did the third single, Yemin Ettim . After a year off, a second album was released, Cayir Cayir , from which the three single releases ( Canimi Veririm , Bittin Sen , Yaranamadim ) became No. 1.

When the group CanKan signed a German manager named Ralph Connery in 2007, they released their first German song. Respect , the song that Fatih ABB recorded with Ralph Connery, was the first to be released in schools in North Rhine-Westphalia together with the WDR . An attempt to buy into Seyba Holding failed. The band then had no more success and finally split in 2010.

In April 2016, the duo reported back with the album Ölümsüz Ask (in German: "immortal love"). The album contains 13 songs and a video clip was also shot for Ölümsüz Ask . In 2019, Fatih ABB became a member of the band "Hadi Hızlan" feat. Yavuz Selim has released a video clip entitled "Nedenini sorma".
