The Candies ( Japanese キ ャ ン デ ィ ー ズ , Kyandīzu ) were a Japanese idol music group that existed from 1973 to 1978.
Its members were Ran Ito , Yoshiko Tanaka (under the name Sue ) and Miki Fujimura . The Candies released 14 music albums, excluding best-of albums, and 18 singles.
With their single Hohoemi Gaeshi ( 微笑 が え し ) they landed a number 1 hit in 1978, which sold 829,000 times.
