The web application was published on February 26, 2018 and is based on the freemium business model.

history

The CargoApps originated from the idea of offering a kind of Google Maps for freight forwarders and thus to facilitate disposition . The publication took place on February 26, 2018. Initially, the two modules Quotex and Mautex were included, which offer various functions for route planning and cost calculation. On January 2, 2019, a new module called Orders was made available as a beta version , which is a Transport Management System (light) and covers another area of their work for freight forwarders.

Functions

CargoApps currently consist of three modules: Quotex , Mautex and Orders . The modules differ in terms of their intended use for forwarding agents.

Quotex

The Quotex enables the planning of a route based on various vehicle and driver profiles that can be created beforehand. There is also the option of automatically optimizing the specified route (from three stops) and changing the route according to your own preferences. The second function of the Quotex is the offer calculation. The costs are calculated on the basis of additional surcharges (Saturday and / or Sunday surcharge) and vehicle and driver profiles that you have created yourself. The margin can be individually adjusted, which means that the amount for the offer is calculated.

Mautex

The toll calculation by the Mautex module is based on toll-relevant factors such as number of axles, permissible total weight, emission class and time of day as well as special tolls for bridges or tunnels. There is a breakdown of the tolled and toll-free number of kilometers per country. The toll is constantly updated.

Orders

The beta version of the Orders module offers the possibility to manage and overview transport orders . The evaluation of various aspects of the orders is possible using analyzes and graphics. Digital communication with partners is also supported.

scope of application

The CargoApps are particularly interesting for freight forwarders , industrial companies and freight carriers . The web application can be accessed and used via conventional web browsers . The Freemium business model of CargoApps enables the use of the web application by all forwarding agents without having to pay a corresponding fee and is unique in this area.
