Caristanius Iustianus

Caristanius Iustianus (his praenomen is not known) was a member of the Roman knighthood ( Eques ) living in the 2nd century AD .

An inscription found at the Bar Hill fort shows that Iustianus was prefect of the Cohors I Hamiorum around 142/180 , which was stationed in the province of Britannia at that time .
