Carro (wood measure)

The carro was an Italian measure of volume and firewood. It was in Milan . The wood measure was the load. Firewood was sold more by weight than by that measure.

  • 1 carro = length 4 braccia; Width 4 braccia; Height 1 braccio = 16 cubic braccia = 3.3692 cubic meters
