Cecilie Drabsch Norland

Cecilie Drabsch Norland (* 1978 as Cecilie Drabsch ) is a Norwegian swimmer.

Norland, who has Infantile Cerebral Palsy , participated in the 2000 , 2004 and 2008 Paralympics . In 2000 she reached fourth place in the 50-meter freestyle discipline (class S8) and fifth place in the 100-meter freestyle (class S8). In 2004, she took gold in 50 meters with 31.51 seconds and bronze in 100 meters with 1:12.29 minutes. She was the flag bearer for Norway at the opening ceremony of the 2008 Paralympics. In the same year she won gold again in 50 meters with 32.09 seconds. In the 100-meter discipline, she came fifth. She currently lives in Hafrsfjord near Stavanger .
