The Cello Concerto in C minor , Opus 66 by Nikolai Yakovlevich Myaskovsky was built between 1944-1945 and is one of the few works of the composer, can be found in concert or on recordings that often.

The concert consists of two sets, the first is called Lento ma non troppo - Andante - Tempo I , the second as Allegro vivace - Piu marcato - Meno mosso - Tempo I . The total duration of the concert is approx. 25 minutes. The piece is one of the composer's late works, the melodies include Russian folk songs.
