Centro de Arte y Comunicación

The Centro de Arte y Comunicación (CAyC) in the Argentine capital Buenos Aires was initially founded as a multidisciplinary workshop in August 1968 by Víctor Grippo , Jacques Bedel , Luis Fernando Benedit , Alfredo Portillos , Clorindo Testa , Jorge Glusberg and Jorge González. Jorge Glusberg has been the director of the center since 1968. In the 1970s the CAyC was an international center of Pop Art culture and later also the seat of the Museo de Arquitectura . In 1972 the renowned Escuela de Altos Estudios del CAyC was founded.

Well-known professors at the Escuela de Altos Estudios del CAyC were, for example, Justus Dahinden and Mario Botta .
