Certificate of a Pharmaceutical Product

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A Certificate of a Pharmaceutical Product (CPP; German: Certificate or Verification for a Medicinal Product or a Pharmaceutical Product ) is a certificate issued by national health authorities on application that a medicinal product is marketable in the country of origin. It also confirms that the manufacturer of the product is a GMP ( Good Manufacturing Practice ) certified manufacturer and is regularly checked by the national health authorities. The WHO ( World Health Organization ) recommends the use of a standardized format for this certificate. In countries that do not have a drug approval system such as B. the EU , the submission of a CPP from the EU or the USA is a condition to be able to bring a drug on the market.
