Certification Review Item

Certification Review Item (CRI) is an English term used by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) in connection with the certification procedure for products, parts and devices in aviation - e.g. B. for aircraft or engines - is used.

A CRI is a document that is used to document the certification of an object that still needs clarification or is of outstanding technical or administrative importance.

The document contains e.g. B. in individual cases specially justified and agreed deviations from the published guidelines for certification.
