Chablis (cheese)
The Chablis is a soft cheese with 50% fat in the dry matter from the wine-growing region of the same name, Chablis ( France ) .
Manufacturing and appearance
The cheese made from pasteurized cow's milk is often rubbed and refined with the Burgundy Chablis ( Chardonnay ) during the three-week ripening period . The taste is initially fine and mild. By rubbing it in, it becomes creamier and stronger with increasing maturity and receives its typical aromatic taste and its yellow-orange hue of the rind.
