Inscription on the back of the Chafariz do Andaluz

The Chafariz do Andaluz is a wall fountain in the Portuguese capital, Lisbon . It is located on Largo de Andaluz , a square-like extension at the northern end of Rua de Santa Marta , in the municipality of Santo António .

According to the inscription on the back of the fountain, the city of Lisbon commissioned its construction in 1376. To the left, the coat of arms of the city of Lisbon, above the insignia of King Alfonso IV.
