The cheilitis exfoliative is a chronic inflammation of the lips . The red lips are reddened (can also be scaly) and streaked with cracks. Various factors and underlying diseases such as psoriasis or seborrhea can be the cause ; Sun exposure is also part of it.

Therapeutically, ointments or creams that contain moisture or fat are recommended (after the cause has been clarified).
