Chesterfield (coat)

The Chesterfield is a strictly cut, single-breasted men's coat that is used as a city and visiting coat. It has a suit-like shape, slanted flap pockets and a concealed button placket . The front part extends over the knee. The color is usually medium or light gray.

The coat model had been known as Chesterfield since the beginning of the 20th century.
