Christian F. Majer

Christian Friedrich Majer (* 1978 in Tübingen ) is a German legal scholar and professor of civil law , civil procedural law , criminal law and administrative offense law at the University of Public Administration and Finance in Ludwigsburg .

education

After graduating from the Uhland-Gymnasium in Tübingen in 1998 , Majer studied law at the University of Tübingen . After the first state examination in 2003, he worked as an academic assistant at the law faculty of his home university. He completed his legal clerkship in the Stuttgart Higher Regional Court district in 2006 with the second state examination in law.

Career

From 2007 to 2013 Majer worked as a lawyer in Tübingen . At the same time he was again an academic assistant at the University of Tübingen from 2007 to 2009 and a lecturer at the University of Konstanz from 2009 to 2014 .

In 2011 Majer did his doctorate with Jürgen Stamm at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg with summa cum laude on the subject of " Eviction and its effective enforcement" .

In 2013 he took over the professorship for civil law, civil procedure law, criminal law and administrative offense law at the University of Public Administration and Finance in Ludwigsburg. He is director of the local institute for international and foreign private and procedural law .

Others

In addition to his work as a university lecturer, Majer is the honorary editor-in-chief of the legal journal Jura Studium & Examen (JSE), which has been published since 2011 by the association of JSE eV, of which he is chairman.
