Christian Social Workers' Newspaper
The Christlich-sociale Arbeiter-Zeitung acted as the “central organ of the Christian-Social Workers' Party in Austria” and appeared under this title every week from April 7, 1900 to March 24, 1934. It was the successor to Leopold Kunschak's in Vienna in November 1895 founded and published newspaper Freiheit! . With the issue on March 31, 1934, at the same time as Kunschak's farewell, the title was changed to the Oesterreichische Arbeiter-Zeitung . On March 12, 1938 - one day before Austria was " annexed " to Nazi Germany - the newspaper was finally shut down.
The paper was published as a Christian-social worker newspaper in a 2 ° format (37.5 × 23 cm) and from January 1921 in three columns in a format of 41 × 26.5 cm.
The Christlich-socialen-Arbeiter-Zeitung contained an “Illustrated entertainment sheet”. As a supplement appeared the hours of silence, which were later absorbed by the worker and trade friend or the worker and trade friend for the Duchy of Salzburg . The addition of a worker and trader friend was used from the 32nd year (1901) to the 50th year.
