Christoph von Venningen
Christoph von Venningen († November 9, 1545 in Calais ) was Obervogt von Vaihingen an der Enz and envoy of the Schmalkaldic League .
He was a son of the Baden councilor and landlord Conrad von Venningen († 1532) and Maria von Hirschhorn († after 1556). In 1532 he inherited the property of their father together with his brother Erasmus († 1589). The brothers shared the property, whereby Christoph became lord of Grombach in 1542 , where he carried out the Reformation and had Grombach Castle restored.
