Christophe Marchand (Designer)

Christophe Marchand (* 1965 in Friborg ) is a Swiss designer .

Life

Marchand completed his Matura in Friborg and then moved to Zurich to take the preliminary design course. From 1987 to 1991 he completed an apprenticeship as a cabinet maker . He then studied industrial design at the University of Art and Design in Zurich and later founded his own company "Christophe Marchand Design". In addition, he carried out various activities as a lecturer and professor from e.g. B. at EPFL Lausanne in the field of industrial design. He was also a member of the design board of Gebrüder Thonet GmbH from Frankenberg.
