Christopher I of Alexandria
Christopher I (Greek Χριστοφόρος ) was the Orthodox Patriarch of Alexandria from 817 to 841.
Christophoros supported the worship of icons in the church. He took part in a synod in Jerusalem in 836 , which took this position and opposed the anti-image attitude of the Byzantine emperor Theophilos .
