Chronon (database)

Chronons are specific periods of time in databases and indicate certain phases of the executing program. Several chronons together form an interval , several intervals together form a period .

In this context, however, it is possible to install several chronons per period. This is described by the term granularity . The more Chronons you publish for a period, the higher the granularity and the more precise the result.
