Clover (bass guitars)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Clover company is one of the pioneers of German bass and guitar construction . It was founded in 1986 in the Ruhr area and is now based in Munich. It is in the second generation of owners, and Jörg Neugebauer has been the managing director since May 2005.

Clover became famous in the early 1990s for the manufacture of guitars and basses made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic (KFK) . Models like "Slapper" or "BassTard" can still be found on the Internet and are considered classics in great demand. At the moment the company has withdrawn from the manufacture of KFK instruments and now manufactures exclusively in wood.
