The Cola or Chola Castle (Arabic: Qula (قولة), also Kula ) is a small crusader castle in today's Israel.

location

The castle ruins are about 14 km northeast of Ramla .

history

The castle is mentioned in a document in 1181, when the Hospitaller Order acquired it and the place belonging to it from Hugo of Flanders . From then on, the order had food produced here for its hospital in Jerusalem .

Remains of a tower and a castle building have been preserved to this day.
