Collegium Jenense (2013)

The Collegium Jenense , once a monastery , is the founding place of the Jena University and is located between Teichgraben and Kollegiengasse and between Leutragraben and Nonnenplan.

Today it houses the preclinical institutes of the Medical Faculty of the Friedrich Schiller University (Anatomy I and II) including the anatomical collections. The Kollegienhof, for example, is open to the public; not open to the public are the vestibule and the lockup . There are now a few extensions on the site, in which the preclinical institutes Physiology I and II, Biochemistry I and II as well as the Theoretical are located.
