Conan the Adventurer (Original title: Conan the Adventurer ) is an American - French animated fantasy - cartoon series by Graham Morris and Karen Peterson , which is based on the character Conan created by Robert E. Howard . The series consists of two seasons with a total of 65 episodes of 25 minutes each.
In Germany, SAT 1 showed the series from November 5, 1994.
action
During a meteor shower, a mysterious star metal lands on earth. This is needed by the cursed serpent god Seth for his liberation. Seth instructs the malicious wizard Wrath-Amon to get the material. The material was found by Conan's family, who turned the star metal into weapons. His father also made a sword from this material for Conan. Wrath-Amon turns Conan's family to stone while trying to get the star metal. Young Conan seeks revenge and goes into battle against the villain and his snake men. On his journey Conan meets the Wasai prince Zula , the artist Jezmine , the Vanir warrior Snagg and the magician Greywolf , who now support him in his fight. Also at his side is the young Phoenix Needle , who can often help with his cunning.

The plot is a child-friendly, independent representation of Conan's story. Only a few places and actors show loose parallels to the novels or comics.
