Conny - Girls, Horses, Adventure (spelling CONNY) was a horse magazine for children. The target group were mainly girls between the ages of 8 and 14. It was published by Bastei Verlag from 1980 to 1995 . There was "Conny" as a classic comic magazine with additional sections as well as a comic paperback that was limited to the comics. The last page of the magazine was always reserved for "Mulle", a one-page comic about a small, fat, hungry and lazy pony named Mulle and his owner.

Issue no. 1 started in 1980 with the story "Hera, the wonder horse".

"Conny" originally appeared in the Swedish magazine "Min Häst" ("My Horse"). Draftsmen were among others the Spaniards Rafael López Espi, Amador (Amador García Cabrera) and Rodrigo Rodrígue Comos

New edition

After a break of 13 years, the first issue of Conny - Horses, Boys and Adventure was published by Tigerpress Verlag GmbH on June 30, 2008 . In addition to reports on horse breeds, care and keeping, the content of this new edition also included the teenage topics of fashion, friendship and first love. "Conny" appeared every two months with a print run of 120,000 copies. After the publisher filed for bankruptcy in June 2009, "Conny" was no longer continued.

In addition to the magazine, 21 radio plays appeared on the magazine. The radio play series Conny - Girls, Horses, Adventure was produced by the Braun recording studio and released exclusively on cassette. The stories are based on the respective comics from the magazine. Some of the magazines have the same titles as the cassettes.

Board game

In 1987 the board game Conny - Girls, Horses, Adventure was published by the magazine. The game was developed by Sven Kübler and published by Schmidt Spiele in Germany and Finland. In the board game, the horse thieves involved have to stop their trade and bring stolen horses back to the farm.
