Corrie Harbor

Corrie Harbor is a small port facility in the Scottish town of Corrie on the Isle of Arran in the North Ayrshire Council Area . In 1980 the structure was included in the Scottish Monument Lists in Monument Category C. The facility is not to be confused with a slipway in the village.

description

The port dates from the 18th and 19th centuries. It is located on the A841 coastal road in the middle of the long village of Corrie. It is the mouth of a small stream that has been fortified. For this purpose, it was enclosed with a quarry stone wall. The protected area is very small and can only accommodate a few small boats.
