The Country National Airplay charts, published once a week by the industry magazine R&R, are the second most important hit parade for pieces of music from the country music genre behind Billboard's Hot Country Songs .

Once a week, the 100 or so North American radio stations included transmit playlists that show how often a title has been played. Depending on the number of listeners at the station, the numbers are weighted, ie multiplied by the weighting of the station. This is determined by the number of its listeners, which is determined in a quarter of an hour grid. The summed values ​​determine the weekly position of the 50-ranked chart.

A song that loses points for three consecutive weeks will be removed from the charts unless it is at number one. Sales figures for singles or other sound carriers are not included.
