Crandy

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Crandy was a mobile payment system for amounts up to € 150 ( micropayment ) and more via mobile phones . The payment system made it possible to transfer money from one phone to another. The service has since been discontinued and the former website crandy.com has been switched off.

The phone number was also the Crandy account number. Crandy accounts had a similar range of functions as a current account and were used to replace cash ( electronic money ). An e- banking license is required to carry out electronic payments , which significantly increased the effort involved in introducing an open mobile payment system. In addition to e-money, Crandy also managed vouchers and bonus programs as electronic credit. This made complex mobile marketing and cross-marketing campaigns possible. The term Crandy is a word creation from the terms Cr edit and H andy and is registered as a word mark .
