Crottingen

Crottingen (also Krottingen) were the names of several places in Prussian Lithuania and in Russian Lithuania .

  • (Kölmisch) German Crottingen , also Klein Crottingen , initially a parish and an estate, later also a village in the Memel district, today Kretingalė in the district of Klaipėda in Lithuania.
  • Noble (German) Crottingen , also Neuhof Crottingen , formerly a noble estate and village, then an estate district in the Memel district, today Šlikiai in the district of Klaipėda in Lithuania.
  • Kretinga in the Rajongemeinde Kretinga in Lithuania, formerly (in German) Russian Crottingen , Lithuanian Crottingen or Krettingen on the other side of the imperial border.
