The Dülmener Heimatblätter have been published in Dülmen since 1954 as a local history magazine of the Heimatverein Dülmen e. V.

The magazine is the successor to the magazine of the same name, which has been published since the beginning of the 20th century. The appearance as well as the frequency of publication (up to 4 issues per year) have changed again and again, whereby the basic format has always remained the same.

Topics from the history of Dülmen and the surrounding villages are dealt with. The Low German language is also maintained with corresponding contributions.

In addition to the printed edition, which is also available in local shops, there is an online edition.

Special editions of the Dülmener Heimatblätter are published on special occasions. On the occasion of the 700th anniversary of the city of Dülmen, for example, a 336-page edition was published on April 18, 2011 in the form of a book.
