A sports badge for motorsport is awarded by the German Motorsport Association (DMV) . The award takes place depending on the results in various motorsport events to members of the DMV. It is a pin. The appearance of the badge is independent of whether it was acquired through success in motorcycle or automobile racing.

The DMV sports badge is available in different levels.

  • Bronze (75 points)
  • Silver (150 points)
  • Gold (250 points)
  • Large gold (500 points)
  • Large gold with diamonds (1000 points)

Lending Policy

The award is based on a point system. Points are awarded for participation in automobile or motorcycle sport events. The amount of points earned depends on the importance of the event, the space achieved and the number of participants.

Some examples of points:
The 5th place out of 21 participants in a Clubsport Automobile Slalom brings 3.44 points.
The 5th place out of 21 participants in the long distance cup brings 15.5 points.
The 15th place out of 34 participants in the Motocross -EM brings 14.5 points.
