The Daiseion-ji ( Japanese 大 聖恩 寺 ) is a temple of the Nichiren-shū on the eastern outskirts of Wipperfürth , North Rhine-Westphalia and as one of three in Europe, the only one of this Buddhist school in Germany. It was founded in the late 1990s and reopened after a fire in 2002. As Daiseion-ji eV, the temple is particularly committed as a religious meeting center. The current presidents of the temple are Rev. Nissho Takeuchi and Rev. Shokei Steffens.
