Dry moisture

As Darrfeuchte or dry moisture is referred to the state of a material in which no free water is no longer present.

Measurement

When measuring the moisture content of a material and specifying the bulk density , the mass of the dry substance at drying moisture is required as a reference value :

The standardized procedure, the gravimetric drying-weighing method , is used to determine the drying moisture . It is considered the most precise method and therefore also serves as a reference method for other moisture measurement methods.
