DataMaker
DataMaker is the database program in SoftMaker Office . DataMaker is currently in version 99 and runs under Microsoft Windows . DataMaker is part of the Office package, but is also sold individually.
On July 21, 2006, SoftMaker announced in the customer newsletter that DataMaker 2006 was in the non-public beta test. The new version should be ODBC -based and thus no longer be limited to dBASE databases, like the currently available DataMaker 99. It was also announced that the range of functions had been expanded: forms (including subforms), reports, stickers, full relationality, Queries, direct entry of SQL commands and much more. On February 19, 2007, the customer newsletter mentions "DataMaker 2007" which will probably no longer support the somewhat older Windows versions 95/98 / ME.
