The Denggenhof , formerly also called Weissenhof , was a Graz noble farm located on Triester Straße . Its history dates back to the 16th century.

description

Around 1627 the estate also included a Meierhof in addition to the Edelhof itself. It is known from 1689 that the estate also included a tower with a striking clock and bells and a summer house in the garden.

history

The Denggenhof was built by the sovereigns in the 16th century and served as the Meierhof for Karlau Castle . In 1620 the farm was sold to the Lords of Moscon. In 1627 the Denggenhof was mentioned as an Edelhof and had its own Meierhof. Towards the end of the 17th century the farm came into the possession of the tens, from whom it was also named "Weissenhof". In 1689 the farm was sold by Anna Zehentner to Ferdinand Freiherrn von Stadl. In the period that followed, the estate had many changing owners. In the 19th century it was named "Denggenhof". The Edelhof is no longer preserved. A residential high-rise was built at its location.
