Deodorant volente

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Deo volente ( Latin ; "so God will", abbreviation d. V. ) Is a Latin phrase with which, even in pre-Christian times, a future-oriented intention was placed under the reservation of the divine will or a general obstacle ("if nothing comes up"). In Christianity it occurs as a devotional formula in the Conditio Jacobaea ( Jak 4,15  VUL ):Si Dominus voluerit. Et: Si vixerimus ( Deo volente nobis viventibus , “ if we are alive according to God's will ”or“ God willing and we live ”, abbreviation sGw or sGw ).

A comparable Arabic phrase is In shā'a llāh .
