Depot (spelling "depot") was a German supermarket brand that was used by various, legally independent co-op companies. Depot were larger former co-op branches in northern Germany that continued to be operated as discounters. In southern Germany (e.g. in Ulm) Depot was also present as a brand in newly opened branches since the early 1980s.

At the beginning of the 1990s, due to the so-called co-op scandal, the co-op sales area North (Hamburg) was divided into the companies Pro Consumers-Handels-GmbH and the logistics company HPL, and co-op Dortmund AG and co op Schleswig-Holstein AG continued under the leadership of co op Schleswig-Holstein.

Former co-op stores, which were renamed Depot and later TIP , were also located in the Rhine-Main area, including Offenbach and Darmstadt. They were taken over by Tengelmann and renamed Plus again. As of 1996, the depot stores of PRO Konsum-Handels-GmbH were transferred to Spar AG (Hamburg-Schenefeld) and renamed to Spar, Interspar or Eurospar, depending on their size.

In southern Germany, all of the remaining depot stores were renamed Sky stores and the “Depot” brand was dissolved.
