The third heaven
The third heaven is a term found in Second Temple literature .

In the Greek apocalypse of Moses , it is the place where Adam is buried. In the Apocalypse of Moses and also in Second Corinthians 12: 2-4, the third heaven is equated with paradise . Likewise, in the two books, Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. In the Slavic Book of Enoch , the third heaven is paradise to which the righteous among men are brought. In the Slavic review of the Apocalypse of Baruch, a phoenix and a dragon are included.
