Derivative acquisition of ownership
Under -derivatives acquisition of property refers to the acquisition of the property in a matter of legal transaction contrary to the original acquisition of property . So the property is derived from the property of the previous owner.
- The most important case is the transfer of title to movables (Germany: § 929 BGB ), chattels , and immovable property, real estate (Germany: § 873 , § 925 BGB)
