Dermot Lacey

Dermot Lacey is an Irish politician of the Irish Labor Party .

Lacey joined the Irish Labor Party in 1977. Since 1993 he has been a member of the Dublin City Council for them . First he represented the constituency of South Inner City , then from 1999 the constituency of Pembroke . As a member of the City Council, Lacey was elected Lord Mayor of Dublin in 2002 and held this office for a term from July 2002 to July 2003.
