As determinism is called

  • in philosophy the determination or dependence of the (unfree) will on internal or external causes, see determinism
  • in the natural sciences the a priori definition of the reaction of a system, see for example deterministic chaos
  • in theoretical computer science a property of an algorithm, see determinacy (algorithm)
  • in set theory a property of a set of real numbers, see determinacy (set theory)
